Anatomy of an aftermovie

Anatomy of an aftermovie

A good aftermovie isn't filmed at random. It's prepared like a story: a beginning, a rise, a climax, a fall.

On location, I look for the moments that carry emotion — a glance, a gesture, a light — rather than piling up shots.

In the edit, rhythm is everything. Music dictates the cut, and every shot must earn its place. The rest ends up on the bench.
